PTFE Etched Tube

PTFE etched tube is a kind of tube made of PTFE material with surface treatment through a specific process. It is mainly used in medical and other industrial fields and is often used in conjunction with FEP heat shrink tube.

There are three production processes: free extrusion/extrusion with mandrel/dip coating, and different processes can be used according to needs.

Advantages:

  • Optimal lubricity;
  • Good biocompatibility;
  • Good dielectric insulation;
  • Good chemical resistance;
  • Good weather resistance;
  • Flame retardant.

  • It can be chemically etched onto the outer diameter of the catheter and used in conjunction with FEP heat shrink tube. Its main function is to provide low friction and establish the inner layer of the lumen. It is widely used in the fields of cardiovascular and neurosurgery, and is often used in the manufacture of medical devices such as cardiac catheters, vascular stents, and neural implants.

  • Braid Reinforced Tubing Braid Reinforced Tubing
    The braid-reinforced tubing is crafted through co-extrusion or reflow processes, embedding metal or fiber braided structures between two layers of material. This innovative design significantly enhances the tube's burst pressure resistance, column strength, and torque transmission. The braiding angle, coverage, and the dimensions, shape, and strength of the reinforcing materials are critical in determining the performance of the tubes. We pride ourselves on producing mesh-braided tubes with high precision and good mechanical properties, which can be tailored to meet your specific requirements.

  • Micro Catheter Micro Catheter
    Micro catheters are small-sized reinforced catheters, usually with an outer diameter of less than 1 mm. They are often used in minimally invasive surgeries of complex blood vessels in the human body and can enter tiny blood vessels and cavities in the human body, such as nerve vessels, to achieve precise treatment. Our micro catheters have good flexibility, maneuverability and biocompatibility, and can well meet the needs of clinical operations.

  • Medical Polyimide Tubing Medical Polyimide Tubing
    Medical Polyimide Tubing exhibits good strength and wear resistance, maintaining its performance even at small dimensions. For medical surgical applications that demand additional lubricity, PI/PTFE composite materials offer a lower coefficient of friction, thereby reducing the surface resistance of the tubing. By combining the unique properties of PI and PTFE, the tubing ensures a sufficiently smooth inner wall, while the PI component enhances the structural support of the entire tube, effectively preventing deformation.
